BUFFALO — Mr. Harold Weggie Boulware, 78, 208 Mill St., Buffalo, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at Wallace Thomson Hospital.
Mr. Boulware was born in Union, SC April 12, 1934, a son of the late Charlie Boulware and Lillie Lawson Boulware. He was a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church where he was a member of the Harold Lawson Sunday School Class as long as his health permitted. Mr. Boulware was also a member of the Buffalo Redmen Tribe and a member of the CB’ers Channel 12 Flower Club. He also attended the Buffalo Council on Aging
Surviving are a sister, Eugenia Stinnett of the home; a niece, Candy Bragg and husband Wayne; a great-niece, Jenna Bragg; a great-nephew, Michael Bragg, all of Simpsonville; and a special caregiver, Elizabeth Jeter.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ray Harold Belue and Rev. Kevin Dalton. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Douglas Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Michael Bragg, Bruce Betenbaugh, Jamie Smith, Stanley Wells, Jimmy Rose and Gerald Goins.
The following are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers: members of the Harold Lawson Sunday School Class, CB’ers, Al Smith and Buck Vinson.
The family would like to say a special “Thank you for the special care given to Mr. Boulware” to Dr. David Keith, the staff and nurses of Wallace Thomson Hospital and Dr. Jordan.
Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home.
