SPARTANBURG, SC — Mr. John Timothy Howard, 52, 105 Windy Rush Road, Spartanburg SC, widower of June Fuller Howard, died suddenly at his home.

Mr. Howard was born in Union, SC Aug. 20, 1957, a son of the late Ralph H. and Faye Eubanks Howard. He was a graduate of Union High School and University of South Carolina. Mr. Howard was employed with Spartanburg Technical College and an avid Gamecock fan. He was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors are two brothers, Michael R. Howard of Columbia and Roger H. Howard and wife Carolyn of Lockhart; a close friend of the family, Joe Bell of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Mr. Merritt Wentz.

Visitation will be held immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
