Noon: New Emanuel Chapel Baptist Church holds “The 7 Last Words of Christ.”
3:30 p.m.: James Chapel Baptist Church, 527 Pinckney St., Carlisle, holds an Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your children and come for lots of games and fun. 6 a.m.: Mt. Rowell Baptist Church and Red Hill Baptist Church host a Joint Easter Sunrise Service at the Red Hill Baptist Church. Pastor K. Russell Sheppard (Mt. The Missionary Auxiliary of the Pacolet River Baptist Association has an Emergency Food Pantry in the rear (annex) of the town hall in Jonesville. The pantry is open Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and other times by calling the numbers posted on the sign at the entrance of the annex. Bring identification and proof residence.
