UNION — The USC Union Bantams slid into the Top 15 Division II club baseball teams in the nation last week and are looking to move even further up the ladder after a stellar weekend.

The Bantams recorded back-to-back wins over OC Tech on Saturday at the Timken Sports Complex and completed the sweep on Sunday with a road win in Orangeburg.

Spencer Rash hurled a 13-0 shutout in game one and Hunter Watts won game two’s pitcher’s dual, 5-1. Cory Robertson picked up the win from the hill on Sunday, 18-4.

With the wins, the twelfth-ranked Bantams improve to 9-3 on the season with a double-header scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Timken Complex versus OC Tech and a road game at Orangeburg on Sunday at 1 p.m.
