UNION — A book signing held Saturday at Union County Carnegie Library proved to be a success according to those who were involved.

Union County native and author Dilsa Saunders Bailey signed books from her romantic suspense series “The Sperling Chronicles.”

Library director Ben Loftis said the event was a success as library patrons were happy to see the author and talk with her about the first two books in her series. Bailey joked that her books were fun to read because they are full of sex, lies and murder.

Bailey was greeted by readers who are fans as well as family and friends during Saturday’s event.

After graduating from Lockhart High School in 1973, Bailey went on to Temple University and Kean University, and she currently resides in the Atlanta area.

Both of Bailey’s books are available in eBook and print formats at Barnes & Noble and on www.amazon.com. They are also available in iBook format at iTunes.
