Upcoming Events

The Union County Carnegie Library Board of Trustees will meet March 19 at 6 p.m. at the library. The meeting is open to the public.

Book Donations

The Friends of the Library will have mini-sales and accept book donations from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on March 15 and April 1 at 112 E. Main St. Friends of the Library receive a 50 percent discount during sales.

Book Sale

Another fantastic book sale by the Friends of the Library will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 25-26 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 27 at the Lions Club building, Main Street, Union. (Book donations will NOT be accepted during this sale.)

Book Signing

Dilsa Saunders Bailey, author of Dreams Thrown Away, will be at the library to sign her new book, The Sperling Chronicles: Split Images from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 16.

Personalized Candy Jar

A Personalized Candy Jar class will be held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on April 4. Cost for materials is $3. Registration required so call 864-427-7140, ext. 301.

Ceramic Plate Painting

A Ceramic Plate Painting will be held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on May 2. Cost for material is $3. Registration required so call 864-427-7140, ext. 301.
