The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Clarissa LaKimberly Thomas, 30, of 174 Industrial Park Road, Union, was charged with cruelty to a child around 3:50 p.m. on March 11. According to the arrest warrant, Thomas struck a child about the neck, chest and back areas, causing abrasions and bruising. Thomas was transported to Union County Jail.

— Kimberly Ann Jennings, 49, of 309 West South Street, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 5:38 p.m. on March 11. According to the incident report, when Palmetto Drugs was unable to fill one of Jennings’ prescriptions, she “became very angry and went to being loud and boisterous and cursing.” Jennings was transported to Union County Jail.

— Steven Gevonee Renwick, 22, of 5250 Cross Keys Highway, Union, was charged with malicious damage to property around 1:32 a.m. on March 12.

— Terrace Denise Chamberlain, 31, of 201 Cottage Avenue, Union, was charged with malicious damage to property around 4:25 p.m. on March 11. According to the arrest warrant, Chamberlain willfully and maliciously destroyed and damaged the inside of a man’s house on Hodges Lane, Union.

— Silmario DeAntwon Coleman, 25, of 1208 West Main St., Union, was charged with malicious damage to property around 4:25 p.m. on March 11.

— Otis Lipscomb, III, of 271 Meansville Road, Union, was charged with public intoxication around 4:30 a.m. on March 12. According to the incident report, Lipscomb was determined to be under the influence after several field sobriety tests, and during a search officers found 10 blue pills believed to be dextroamphetamine and three white rock-like believed to be crack cocaine on Lipscomb’s person. Lipscomb was transported to Union County Jail.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incident:

— A resident of West Henrietta Street, Union, reported on March 11 that someone had spray painted and keyed her car during the previous night. According to the incident report, someone had spray painted profanity on the car, and a substance believed to be sugar was found inside the gas cap and on the ground underneath. The damage was estimated at $7,000. The case was turned over to investigations.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest:

—Kenneth Lee Clayton, 47, of 319 South 6th Street, Lockhart, was charged with criminal domestic violence-simple assault around 7:43 p.m. on March 11. According to the incident report, Clayton pushed a woman, pushing his way inside her house. Clayton was transported to Union County Jail.
