SPARTANBURG — Mrs. Bobbie Dale Coates Dill, 71, 120 Leawood Drive, Spartanburg, S.C., died Feb. 13, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born March 9, 1941, a daughter of the late Luther “Bill” Coates and Ruth Loving Coates Stuard. Mrs. Dill had retired from Smith Drugs #2 in Spartanburg, and was a longstanding member of her beloved church, Croft Baptist Church, were she held many positions over the years. She considered her Church Family to be God’s Richest Blessings and had many Blessed friends

Survivors include one son, Jimmy L. Dill of Spartanburg; two daughters, Pamela Gail Allen of Spartanburg, Laura E. Howell (Tommy) of Union; one brother, Joel Christopher “Butch” Coates (Dana) of Virginia; one sister, Nadine Brown of Florida; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her former husband, Jimmy E. Dill.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Coates, Rev. Larry Coates; and one sister, Dixie Coates.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at 4 p.m. at Croft Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Dempsey officiating. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. before the service at Croft Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials are made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303, or Croft Baptist Church 4190 E. Croft Circle, Spartanburg, S.C., 29302.
