THE UCHS QUARTERLY MEETING has been moved to 2 p.m. due to the parade. We plan to be done in time for the start of the parade at 3 p.m.

THE UNION COUNTY SENIOR CITIZENS CLUB will meet at 6 p.m. at Mon-Aetna Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. This will be a finger food meal. The final payment for the Pigeon Forge New Year’s will be due. Heath Walker will provide the entertainment.

THE UNION COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL GT DRAMA CLASS is having a special “Party with Pooh” in the UCHS Cafetorium. For one price, children may attend a party featuring the cast of Winnie-the-Pooh. Snacks will be provided, and children may have their pictures made with characters from the play; these will be put on a disk. Also included is admission to the performance of Winnie-the-Pooh, which begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the Union County Arts Council and at UCHS.

“MONDAY NIGHT MUSIC” at the UCAC Gallery on Main Street in Union from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. featuring Christmas music. All musicians playing any type of music are invited to attend. The public is invited to listen for free. Call UCAC at 864-429-2817 for more information.

THE NEW EMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH has opened a free clothes closet in the back of the Municipal Building in Jonesville. Hours of operation will be Tuesday and Friday 9:30 a.m.-noon.
