PACOLET – The Lockhart Middle School boys basketball played in a preseason tournament at Pacolet Middle School on Monday with a final score of Pacolet 51, Lockhart 39.

Ryan Vaughan led the Devils with 20 points. Ethan Bailey had 8, Zack Gordon had 7, and Hunter Plemons had 4.

On Tuesday, Lockhart played Jonesville Middle School. The final score was Lockhart 34, Jonesville 31.

Ryan Vaughan led the Devils with 17 points. Hunter Plemons had 10, Ethan Bailey had 3, and Zack Gordon and Morgun Foster each had 2 points.

The regular season opened Monday with Lockhart hosting EP Todd. The final score was Lockhart 46, EP Todd 26.

Ryan Vaughan had 14 points, Hunter Plemons and Ethan Bailey each had 11, Zack Gordon had 6 and Dalton Vinson had 4 points.

On Thursday, Lockhart hosted Landrum. The final score was Lockhart 23, Landrum 22. Zack Gordon led the Devils with 12 points, Ryan Vaughan had 9 and Hunter Plemons had 2.

Lockhart Coach Thomas Parks said he is proud of the hard work the boys are doing and is hoping for more wins during the season.
