CARLISLE — A local family will serve breakfast and a church will serve dinner on Thanksgiving Day in the Town of Carlisle.

Mayor Mary Ferguson-Glenn said Friday that the Mobley family will host their 10th annual Thanksgiving Community Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thanksgiving Day at the Carlisle Town Hall.

“We make the town hall available to the Mobley family because it is a community service,” Ferguson-Glenn said. “The breakfast is open to anyone in the Carlisle community.”

Ferguson-Glenn said another community meal will be served beginning later that morning by the Carlisle Christian Fellowship Church. She said the church will serve dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m in their sanctuary. The event is also open to anyone in the Carlisle community.

For more information contact the Carlisle Town Hall at 427-1505.
