UNION — Mr. Fred Donnie “Duck” Davis, 57, 207 Catawba St., Union, SC, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness.

Born Feb. 27, 1955, a son of the late Fred Donald Davis Sr. and Doris Ethel Gregory Davis. Mr. Davis was a graduate of Union High School and had attended USCU, had been employed with The Torrington Company and was a member of the former Westside Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Eric Davis and wife Nicole; one daughter, Allyson Bradley; two brothers, Dennis Davis and wife Kaye and Terry Davis and wife Kim, all of Union; six grandchildren, Dray and Logan Davis, Austin, Alexis, Trey, and Raiden Bradley, all of Union; an aunt, Joyce Brown and husband Terry; one uncle, Eddie Wayne Davis and wife Linda; and three nephews, K.J. West, D.A. Davis, Stephan Davis, all of Union.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Stevie Davis.

Memorial services will be held Monday, June 18, 2012 at 1 p.m. a The Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Robert Branch officiating. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Following the service.

The family is at the home of his son and daughter-in-law Eric and Nicole Davis, 229 Belvue Road, Union SC 29379
