BUFFALO - Bruce Arthur Henderson, 48, husband of Cheryl Estes Henderson of 1121 Linersville Road, Buffalo, died suddenly Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at his home.
Mr. Henderson was born in Union, Oct. 25, 1960, son of Peggy Sanders Henderson of Jonesville and the late Louis Henderson. He was a member of the Greater Union Church and a graduate of the Greater Union Church Academy. Mr. Henderson was formerly employed with Georgia Pacific for 25 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a daughter, Meagan Garner of Buffalo; a son, Mitch Henderson of Spartanburg; two sisters, Cindy Henderson of Union and Kathy Black and husband Ricky of Jonesville; a brother, Ken Henderson and wife Jeanne of Spartanburg; three granddaughters, Natalie Garner, Emily Henderson and Adalyn Henderson, all of Union.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov, 5, 2008, at the Greater Union Church conducted by Rev. Roger Estes. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Chris Cody, Brandon Cody, Tim Treadwell, Chris Treadwell, Jeff Henderson and Lee Austin.
Visitation will be held from 7 until 8:30 tonght, Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Union Christian Day School, 331 Meansville Road, Union, S.C. 29379.
The family will be at the home of his in-laws, Harold and Linda Coleman, 1109 Linersville Road, Buffalo, and at the home of his mother, Peggy S. Henderson, 717 Pea Ridge Highway, Jonesville, S.C.
