BUFFALO — Mr. Victor Gore, 64, formerly of 188 Peaksville Rd., Buffalo, SC, died Tuesday Aug. 9, 2011, at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.

Born in Union County Nov. 3, 1946, a son of the late Willis and Celia Norris Gore. Victor was a graduate of Sims High School Class of 1965; was retired from Conso International after a number of years; and also worked at Wallace Thomson Hospital.

Survivors include one son, Allan Gore of Union; one daughter, Lisa Henderson of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Arthur L. (Mary Alice) Gore of Union, Sam H. (Dorothy) Gore of Union, Willie M. (Shirley) Gore of Buffalo; three sisters, Agnes Gilliam, Dora (Wade) Hampton, and Debra A. (Leroy) Darby, all of Union.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Wyatts Chapel with Reverend J. Lewis Peake officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at The Lewis Funeral Home

The family is at the home of his sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Wade and Dora Hampton 104 Reed St. Union S.C. 29379.

The Lewis Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
