Mr. Gregory was born in Union, Sept. 24, 1954 a son of the late L.J. Gregory and Sarah Barron Gregory. He was formerly of Lockhart and had worked for E.W. Longshore of Kinards as a painter. Mr. Gregory was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle Church of Clinton.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Mary Beth Lynch and husband William of Clinton and Melissa Conner of Whitmire; one son, Bobby Ray Gregory, Jr. of Clinton; two brothers: Billy K. Gregory Sr. of Newberry and Gerald Dean Gregory of Lockhart; five grandchildren, Brian and Abigail Conner, Willie, Henry, and Calvin Lynch.
Mr. Gregory was predeceased by a brother, Baby Boy Gregory.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Jayon McKee and Rev. Lewis Wilson. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
Active pallbearers will be William Lynch, Sr., Larry Williams, Robert Harris, Donnie Knight, Albert Wilson, and Stephen Patterson.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home, 211 E. Ferguson St., Clinton, SC, 29325.
