UCHS golf team ties with Broome
The Union County boys golf team (6-7-1) ended Wednesday’s Region III-AAA match-up versus Broome tied in a 188-188 stalemate. The Jackets traveled to Chester Thursday evening for the last tune-up before the Region Tournament next Monday. Lady Jackets roll past Mid Carolina
The Union County girls soccer team routed Mid Carolina 4-0 on Monday. Hydia Green led the scoring with two goals while Ivy Murphy and Logan Crocker each contributed a goal. “We played very well, much better than we did the last time we played them,” said Union County Head Coach Stewart Wagner. “We were more aggressive to the ball and covered our spaces better.”
