Union County put on an offensive clinic Friday night at Broome, racking up 17 hits and 22 RBI to take a 25-1 win. Quay Cooper had a an especially busy day to at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits and Recus Hughes went 3-4.

The Jackets teamed up for a stellar pitching performance, as four pitchers combined to allow six hits. Hughes started it all off with a strong performance and a combination of three relievers finished it off.

Broome couldn't get anything going as long as Hughes was on the mound. Broome managed just three hits off of Hughes, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out two during his two innings of work.
