The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Shekelia Latoya Porter, 31, of 123 Short St., Union, was charged with malicious damage to property around 10:55 a.m. on Feb. 6.
— Leontay Trarinzo Jeter, 19, of 176 Joe Walker Road, Union, was charged with possession of crack cocaine around 6 p.m on Feb. 6.
— Mac O’Dell Billings, Jr., 47, of 518 Toluca Street, Union, was charged with driving under suspension around 3:25 p.m. on Feb. 6.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incident:
— A resident of Gage Avenue, Union, reported on Feb. 7 that someone came into her apartment while she was sleeping and took $54 in cash and a bottle of medicine. The case was turned over to investigations.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Dennis Wayne Horton, 53, of 123 South 3rd St., Lockhart, was charged with transporting illegal liquor around 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 6. According to the incident report, officers pulled Horton over when they noticed he was not wearing a seat belt. They then noticed the odor of alcohol coming from his vehicle. They received consent to search the vehicle and located two full plastic gallon containers of “moonshine,” a glass quart jar full of “moonshine,” another plastic container with a small amount of “moonshine” and another plastic container with a small amount of wine. Horton was then transported to Union County Jail by uniform patrol.
— Timothy Eugene Sanders, 53, of 118 C Vaughan Road, Union, was charged with possession of cocaine around 7:50 p.m. on Feb. 6.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incident:
— A resident of Buffalo Street in Buffalo reported on Feb. 6 that the back door to her house had been forced open and items missing included a 55-inch flat screen television, an X-box, an HP laptop, clothes and shoes. The missing items are estimated at a total value of $1,390. An investigator and K-9 units were called and assisted at the scene, and photographs were taken.
