A step to being someone’s cure

Become part of the ‘Be The Match Registry’

Good day! We, the citizens of Union County, have a unique opportunity this coming Sunday. Wyatt’s Chapel Baptist Church is partnering with the HOSA students of Union County High School to perform a task that could potentially save someone’s life.

According to the Cancer Institute, every hour six people die from blood cancers. Blood cancers include, but are not limited to, leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. The cure for these cancers lies in hands of ordinary people like us. We could be the cure!

So, join me this Sunday, February 28 from 12-2 p.m. at Wyatt’s Chapel Fellowship Hall to take the first step to being someone’s cure by becoming a part of the Be The Match Registry.® Patients need you!

When you join Be The Match Registry, your tissue type is added to the registry. It’s not a marrow donation; you don’t actually donate until you are a match for a patient. The process is fast, easy, and painless.

I hope I see you all on Sunday for this momentous occasion.
