UNION — Freddie Mae Beacham Borah, 67, of 107 Carson St., and formerly of 720 Lakeside Drive, Apt 5-D, entered eternal rest on Oct. 10, 2013 at Whitney Place.
A native of Union, she was the widow of John Borah and the daughter of the late Charlie Beacham, Sr. and Willie Mae Greer Beacham. She was a member of McBeth Baptist Church and was a former employee of Great Neck Schools in N.Y. She was a 1965 graduate of Sims High School.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Leroy Bishop, Charlie Beacham Jr., Robert Bishop, Jimmy Bishop, and Ray Beacham; and two sisters, Ruby Beacham and Kathleen Beacham.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim Borah of Atlanta, GA and Pamela Rowe of Valley Stream, N.Y.; one brother, Amos Beacham of Union; four sisters, Mattie Beacham and Peggy Sue Beacham, both of Union, Sandra (Ralph) Tucker of Carlisle, and Sarah Ann Beacham of Manhasset, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at 3 p.m. at McBeth Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Peggy Beacham, 104-A Chambers Avenue.
