UNION — John Andy Kirkland, 78, 303 Columbus St., died Sept. 28, 2013.


A native of Fairfield, he was the widower of Mary Falls Kirkland and the son of the late Ida Mae Kirkland Dunlap. He was a former employee of Crawford Logging.


Survivors include four sons, John Brandon, Rodney Brandon, Bobby (Angie) Boler and Freddie Foster; one stepson, Clifford Falls; seven daughters, Robin Kirkland, Patricia “Wendy” Brown, Gloria Dellum, Robin Caison, Anita Caison, Polly (Jerry) Hall, and Melissa Brandon; three brothers, Jobie W. (Ann) Dunlap, Leroy (Maxine) Dunlap, and Jessie Gregory; two sisters, Sarah Dunlap and Mary Mae Dunlap; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Michael A. Glenn Funeral Home with burial in the Maple Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.


The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, 132 Forest Circle, Union, S.C.


Arrangements are with the Michael A. Glenn Funeral Home, 361 Meansville Road, Union, S.C.
