UCHS falls to Broome in volleyball

UNION COUNTY — In a home game Tuesday night, the Union County High School JV Volleyball team fell Broome 6-25 and 20-25

Despite the loss, Coach Sherry Jackson said she was proud of how her team played.

“Mary Scarborough had an ace and played the back row really well,” Jackson said. “She had some great passes. Macy Scarborough had two aces. Caitlin Grant had two assists. Kasie Roark had an ace and a kill. Claire Pridemore had an ace and Skylen Morris had 2 aces. I was proud that they never gave up.”

Jackson said the team travels to Chapman today.
