JONESVILLE — The Potter’s Storehouse will hold an emergency distribution event from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 8.

The emergency is that TPS currently has more frozen items than space to keep them in, and Saturday’s distribution will be for frozen items only. Pastor Don Moore said everyone will get a 10-pound bag of chicken and other frozen items, depending what is delivered on the food truck.

Moore said the process on Saturday will differ from that of regular distribution events at TPS. He said people will sign in and receive a voucher, which they will turn in to receive each of their items at once.

Moore said people must be registered with TPS to receive items, and those in need will still be able to register on Saturday.

The next regular distribution event at TPS will be Wednesday, March 12.

To volunteer, donate or receive more information about TPS, call Pastor Don Moore at (864) 680-3465.

Derik Vanderford can be reached at 864-427-1234, Ext. 14.
