11 a.m.: Sardis United Methodist Church Ladies Circle #1 will be selling chicken stew for $6 a quart. The stew will be ready to go at 11 a.m. Proceeds will go to missions.
Noon-2 p.m.: Morningside Baptist Church hosts lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt. Lots of fun for the entire family.
Noon-6 p.m.: Lockhart First Baptist Church holds a Relay For Life Family Fun Day in its Family Life Center located behind Lockhart One Stop on SC 49. There will be hot dogs, a silent auction, jump house, snow cones, bake sale, and more. From 4-6 p.m. there will be singing by Patti Turner, Kellie Allen, Luke Jenkins, Lee and Tiffany Littlejohn, and The Riverside Boys.
4 p.m.: The Mitchell Chapel Christian Church Pastor’s Aide would like to invite you to our Pastor’s 6th Anniversary Banquet at the Buffalo Teen Center. Pastor Tony and Pastor LaQuita Griffin are the pastors at MCCC.

1-4 p.m.: Union Church of God Family Life Center hosts Easter Bunny Photos. You will receive a CD with all images and rights to print. The cost is $10 per child with family rates available. 2:30 p.m.: We, the Youth Ministry “God’s Visions” of McBeth Baptist Church, invite you to come worship and fellowship with us on our one day Youth Revival. Our theme is “Get Turnt Up For Christ.” Minister David “DK” Goodson, 627 Music LLC, and Faith to Faith, Glory to Glory Church of Spartanburg, SC will deliver the message. Monday, April 14
7 p.m.: The Union County Baptist Association WMU Spring Meeting will be hosted by Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. Guest missionary speaker will be Rev. Bill Wright, and our State WMU representative, Ms. Cindy Skelton, will also be part of the program. Another special feature of the evening will be the display of our association quilt representing Union County churches’ WMU. Refreshments will be served by the host church following the meeting.

The Union Moms In Prayer group meets each Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Family Life Center of Bethel United Methodist Church, 1705 Lockhart Highway, Union, S.C. This is an informal gathering of moms, grandmothers, and any other interested ladies who would like to be a part of this important ministry of praying for the students, teachers, and staff of our schools. There is also opportunity, for those who wish, to ask prayer for specific individuals. All ladies are welcome to participate. The Missionary Auxiliary of the Pacolet River Baptist Association has an Emergency Food Pantry in the rear (annex) of the town hall in Jonesville. The pantry is open Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and other times by calling the numbers posted on the sign at the entrance of the annex. Bring identification and proof residence.
