11:45 a.m.-Until: Fairforest Baptist Church holds 1st Sunday Lunch. Plates include one meat, three sides, dessert, bread, and drink. There will also be cucumber, tomato, and onion slices while supplies last. Meats include ham and fried chicken. Sides include macaroni and cheese, green beans, rice and gravy, potato salad, turnip greens, sweet peas, and cream corn. Diners have their choice of rolls or cornbread. Beverages including sweet/unsweet tea and water. There will be various baked goods to choose from for dessert. All items are available while they last. Noon: Sardis United Methodist Church holds a Salkehatchie Summer Service Fundraiser. The dinner will begin at noon and continue until sold out. The menu includes ham, turkey, corn, macaroni and cheese, green beans, rolls, dessert, and drink. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children.
Noon: Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church will be having a fundraiser meal. Menu is beef stew with potatoes, carrots and onions, rice, green beans, mac and cheese, and dessert for $8. Money will help with our Vacation Bible School and kitchen needs.
2 p.m.: The Ushers of Woodson Chapel Baptist Church holds their annual program. Rev. Roderick Oglesby Sr., pastor of Bethesday Baptist Church in Santuck, will be the speaker. Rev. Robert E. Collins, Pastor.
2:30 p.m.: James Chapel Baptist Church holds its Spring Revival. Pastor Shell from St. Matthews #2 Baptist Church in Blair, S.C., will deliver the word. Please come out to fellowship and uplift the mighty name of the Lord with us. If you are not able to attend please send us your prayers.

Noon: The Grace United Methodist Church Relay for Life team hosts a potato soup dinner following the church service in the fellowship hall. The meal will include soup, salad, bread, dessert and tea at a cost of $8/adult and $4/kids 12 years and under. Entertainment will be provided by Gospel Grass. 2 p.m.: The Red Hill Baptist Church holds its annual choir anniversary. Pastor Stephens and the church family invite the public to share in this service.
2 p.m.: The Pacolet River Baptist Sunday School Convention will observe its Annual Youth Program at the Baptist Center on Lovers Lane, Union. The church school youth in the PRBA will take part in presentations in the form of singing, dancing, acting, etc. The host church is James Chapel; the host pastor is Rev. Troy Moore; and the host superintendent is Sis. Sundres Glenn.

The Union Moms In Prayer group meets each Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Family Life Center of Bethel United Methodist Church, 1705 Lockhart Highway, Union, S.C. This is an informal gathering of moms, grandmothers, and any other interested ladies who would like to be a part of this important ministry of praying for the students, teachers, and staff of our schools. There is also opportunity, for those who wish, to ask prayer for specific individuals. All ladies are welcome to participate. The Missionary Auxiliary of the Pacolet River Baptist Association has an Emergency Food Pantry in the rear (annex) of the town hall in Jonesville. The pantry is open Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and other times by calling the numbers posted on the sign at the entrance of the annex. Bring identification and proof residence.
