Well, if you don’t know by now, school is underway, I saw some of the cutest photos on Facebook from parents who were teary eyed and weeping over their little ones’ first day. Here are some highlighted events in Wolverine Football action. The first home football game at Legends Stadium is Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. against Calhoun Falls. The Homecoming Game and activities are Sept. 19. The opponents are from Wagner-Salley.

The Youth Night is Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Senior Recognition is Oct. 31 on Halloween. Which makes me wonder will the annual Halloween Carnival be the Saturday prior to Friday, Halloween? It usually is, so we will find out for sure and talk about it in future editions.

Have a great week and weekend, our college football fans and followers have been waiting for this week, especially USC Thursday night game fans. Good luck to all teams, we’ll see you next edition. Until then, feel free to send me your news bits and photos: news2cassie@yahoo.com
