UNION — The University of South Carolina Union is the perfect place to start your college experience. USC Union is a Palmetto College campus and is supported by the entire University of South Carolina system, and as a student you can take advantage of the resources and facilities on other USC campuses.


Our partnerships with USC Columbia, USC Upstate, USC Beaufort and USC Aiken provide access to programs of study and unique academic opportunities. One may graduate from USC Union with an Associate Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree. All right in your own backyard, whether you are in Union or in Laurens.


USC Union offers an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science. The B.A. in Liberal Studies, and a B.A. in Organizational Leadership are offered by USC on our campuses. You can also receive your Bachelor’s degree through the online programs by Palmetto College. This brings together the resources of the entire University of South Carolina system with the flexibility of online learning.


Palmetto College offers seven online degree programs: Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Elementary Education, Human Services, Liberal Studies, Organizational Leadership and Nursing (for RNs).

In addition to helping students achieve their college career goals, USC Union also gives students free assistance with their federal financial aid application at an event held on campus called College Goal South Carolina. The students and parents get assistance on completing and filing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

To get the most of your college experience, you need to get involved on campus through our student clubs and organizations. USC Union has Student Government Association, African American Association, Literary Club, Men and Women on a Mission, USCU Players (theater club) and Baptist Student Union. Our Bantams club baseball team will start back up in the spring with our new coach Jay Ford from Union.


Furthermore, USC Union offers the Dual Enrollment Program to help high school students get a jump on college by taking college courses at their local high school, USC Union, or the USC Union Laurens location.
