Charles Warner|Daily TimesPrayer is how we talk to God. It is also, however, a means of bringing people together. When the person praying is genuinely seeking God's guidance they are not only admitting that they need Him, but that they trust Him to guide them in the way they should go. Such an attitude requires and engenders humility, an attitude that should carry over into our dealings with others, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. Prayer not only brings us closer to God but, if we let it, and, more importantly, let Him shape out attitude toward others in the body of Christ, then we as individuals, as a church, as the Christian community are strengthened in service to the Lord and to each other.
