UNION — Union Public Safety reported a missing person Tuesday morning.

A Union Police Department incident report stated Albert Dunn Jr., 62, of Whitney Place, located at 107 Cornwell Street in Union, went missing after he and another resident walked to the Salvation Army Thrift Store on South Mountain Street. The other resident returned around 8:30 a.m. Monday, July 28, without Dunn.

An assistant administrator at Whitney Place stated that Dunn suffers from dementia. She also stated Dunn was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, a brown jacket and a baseball cap. The report states that other residents stated Dunn had said he was going to leave Whitney Place. Union Public Safety contacted Spartanburg and entered Dunn into NCIC.
