Crime Reports


The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

— Andrew Lee Epps, 31, of 105 Harvey Lane, Union, was charged with possession of marijuana around 5:37 p.m. June 2. According to the incident report, the public safety officer at Union Medical Center smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the public restroom at the Emergency Room waiting area. The report states Epps turned over a half-smoked cigarette containing a green, leafy substance believed to be marijuana and a small plastic bag containing the same substance.

— Judith Smith Bowser, 73, of 1362 Monarch Hwy., Union, was charged with third-degree assault and battery around 2:06 p.m. June 1.

— Scott Edward Bowser, 44, and Tracy Littlejohn Gregory, 35, both of 1362 Monarch Hwy., Union, were each charged with burglary around 11:30 p.m. June 1. According to incident reports, Bowser and Gregory were charged for entering the residence of Bowser’s mother through a window and taking household items.

— Torre Mikkeal Johnson, 30, of 315 Labaw Road, Carlisle, was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature around 8:45 p.m. June 1. According to the incident report, Johnson assaulted a man with a stick while at an address on Janie Glymph Goree Blvd. in Carlisle.

— Willie Walter Mills Jr., 56, of 117 North Church Street, Union, was charged with petit larceny around 8:15 a.m. May 31. According to the incident report, Mills attempted to take a pair of earrings valued at $15 from Belk Distribution Center, where he was employed.

— Quinderrius Qortez Davis, 18, of 202 Catherine Street, Union, was charged with simple possession of marijuana around 1:32 a.m. May 29.

— Brianne Nicole Teague, 23, of 407 Porter Street, Union, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor around 2:44 a.m. May 29.

— Aaliyah Nicole Davis, 21, of 104 Mill Ave., Union, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor around 3:03 a.m. May 29.

— Lisa Ann Sanders, 40, of 137 Polly Lane, Union, was charged with simple possession of marijuana around 1:45 a.m. May 29.

— Gregory Boyd, 46, of 295 Rikard School Road, Prosperity, was charged with simple possession of marijuana around 2 a.m. May 29.

— Teddy Scott Mull, 33, of 602 Toney Road, Union, was charged with giving false information to police and attempting to purchase more than nine grams of ephedrine in a 30-day period around 2:30 p.m. May 29.

— Charles Dennis Hargett, 58, of 3292 Love Road, Kershaw, was charged with driving under the influence around 10:45 p.m. May 29.

— Gena Marie Gregory, 32, of 206 2nd Street, Union, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia around 12:11 p.m. May 31.

— Ray Anthony Bailey, 55, of 208 James Street, Union, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia around 11:45 p.m. May 30.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

— The owner of a residence on Santuc Carlisle Hwy., Union, reported on May 27 that an A/C unit was stolen from outside the residence between March 15-May 27. The unit was valued at $3,000.

— A resident of Hayes Drive, Union, reported on May 29 that a 61-inch Samsung flat screen TV was stolen from his residence between 1:30 p.m. May 27 and the time of the report. The TV was valued at $1,800.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Jordon Luke Smith, 17, of 1020 Thompson Blvd., Union, was charged with reckless driving around 2:29 a.m. June 3.

— Shawn Allen McPhail Jr., 22, of 1317 Peach Orchard Road, Union, was charged with simple possession of marijuana around 8:59 p.m. June 2.

— Heath Brian Walker, 22, of 3618 Lockhart Hwy., Union, was charged with simple possession of marijuana, an ABC violation, and possession of drug paraphernalia around 8:26 p.m. June 2.

— Winston Clinton Adams, 61, of 102 Standpipe Street, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 4:20 a.m. June 3.

— Travis Sentell Johnson, 35, of 1105 Canaan Point Drive, Spartanburg, was charged with three counts of shoplifting around 12:06 p.m. June 1. According to arrest warrants, Johnson took items from Walmart in Union on Apr. 11, Apr. 23, and June 10, 2015.

— Michael O’Neal Rodgers, 38, of 115 Woodlawn Ave., Union, was charged with trespassing around 6:51 p.m. June 1.

— Bradley Joe Granger, 37, of 117 South Street, Union, was charged with shoplifting and obtaining property under false pretenses around 3:20 p.m. May 31. According to arrest warrants, Granger attempted to get money back for hair care products after stealing them from Walmart in Union.

— Kevin Marcell Means, 41, of 104 Collector Drive, Union, was charged with second-degree domestic violence around 1:06 a.m. May 31. According to the incident report, Means grabbed a woman and threw her out of her bed, causing her to hit a fan.

— Jordan Luke Smith, 17, of 1020 Thompson Blvd., Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around noon May 28. According to the arrest warrant, Smith became “loud and boisterous, using profane language and making threats” while at Murphy’s, located at 309 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Union.

— Scott Charles Darling Sr., 51, of 1319 Peach Orchard Road, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 8:33 p.m. May 27. According to the arrest warrant, Darling became “loud and boisterous, using profane language and making threats” while at Murphy’s, located at 309 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Union.

— Larry Donell Robinson, 50, of 100 Chelsea Court, Union, was charged with driving under the influence and striking a fixture on the highway around 12:50 a.m. May 28.

— Antonio Dean Moore II, 18, of 245 Mystic Court, Chesnee, was charged with driving under suspension and speeding around 7:25 p.m. May 29.

— Akeem Alexander Davis, 26, of 401 South Boyce Street, Union, was charged with driving under the influence and driving under suspension around 4:05 a.m. May 29.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incidents:

— An employee of Shoe Show, located at 515 North Duncan Bypass, Union, reported on May 30 that $90 out of a deposit made from the store to Park Sterling Bank was counterfeit. The bills were taken at the store on May 30. The bills were given for investigation.

— A resident of Cottage Ave., Union, reported on May 27 that his residence was burglarized, with his front door cracked open and a window open with the frame bent. When officers arrived, the complainant stated he was missing a total of $500 cash, as well as an HP laptop and a blue DVD player. The case was turned over to investigations.
