Crime Reports


The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

— Patricia Megan Cohen, 30, of 207 East Academy Street, Union, was charged with possession of meth around 4:50 a.m. Apr. 2. According to the incident report, deputies responded to the area of Sims Ave. and the back alley of 2nd Street, Union, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The report states while officers looked in the windows of the vehicle which had a paper dealership tag on it, Cohen approached and stated she thought she could park there. The report also states Cohen appeared to have been under the influence of something, and she told officers she “shot up” about six hours prior. She gave officers permission to search the vehicle — which she said she was driving for a friend — and they found a bag containing a crystal-like substance believed to be meth and two used hypodermic needles.

— Nicholas Paul Davis, 22, of 817 Meansville Road, Union, was charged with petit larceny around 9:10 a.m. Apr. 4. According to the incident report, Davis took an M&P Smith and Wesson .40 caliber handgun valued at $700 from a man’s car while the man was giving Davis a ride home. The report states when the man attempted to get the gun back from Davis, Davis jumped out of the vehicle and ran into the woods.

— Stacey Lynn Tisdale, 36, of 318 South 5th Street, Lockhart, was charged with driving under suspension and giving false information to law enforcement around 5:40 p.m. Apr. 1. According to the incident report, officers conducted a traffic stop on Tisdale, and she said she didn’t have her license with her. Officers later identified her as Stacey Lynn Tisdale and learned that her license had been suspended.

— Kacey Michelle Gory, 23, of 241 Wilson Road, Union, was charged with third-degree domestic violence around 5 p.m. Apr. 3. According to the incident report, Gory threw an object at her husband, injuring his inner jaw and causing a puncture to his son.

— David Keith Paige, 27, of 403 Stutts Ave., Union, was charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia around 2:10 a.m. Apr. 2.

— Christopher Antonio Brannon, 36, of 111 Woodlawn Ave., Union, was charged with public disorderly conduct around 8:41 p.m. Apr. 2. According to the incident report, Brannon was unruly and caused a disturbance while in Don Poncho Restaurant, located at 1118 Main Street, Buffalo.

— Christopher Robert Williams, 42, of 113 South 1st Street, Lockhart, was charged with possession with intent to distribute meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia around 7:25 p.m. Apr. 3.

— Anita Ham Groves, 47, of 1232 Quarter Round Road, Pacolet, was charged with possession with intent to distribute meth, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia around 1:12 a.m. Apr. 4.

— Andrey Darnell Hall Jr., 23, of 1205 Arthur Blvd., Union, was charged with trespassing around 7:25 p.m. Apr. 6.

— Alan Z Edwards Jr., 20, of 112 Carolyn Drive, Spartanburg, was charged with unlawful carrying of a handgun around 11:56 p.m. Apr. 5.

— Sylister Dantrelle Jeter, 26, of 106 Richard Street, Union, was charged with open container, simple possession of marijuana, and unlawful carrying of a handgun around 9:51 a.m. Apr. 6.

— David Lee Comer, 48, of 2040 Jonesville Hwy., Union, was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and use of a vehicle without permission around 11:15 a.m. Apr. 4. According to the incident report, Comer took his mother’s vehicle without permission and attempted to run over her with it. The report states that when she attempted to get the keys back from her son, he left in the car.

— Gena Marie Gregory, 31, of 3647 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, was charged with driving under suspension around 1 a.m. Apr. 5.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

— A resident of Lovers Lane Road, Union, reported on Apr. 5 that someone shot a bullet into his mobile home the previous night, striking a china cabinet and going through to a back wall. The copper jacket of the bullet was found on the top shelf of the cabinet, and damage was estimated at $400.

— A resident of Cross Keys Hwy., Union, reported on Apr. 5 that someone had kicked in a door on the side of his residence and taken several items including a Mossberg Model 500 Glock Model 17 9mm handgun and a 42-inch Samsung flat screen TV valued at a total of $1,300.

— Residents of Eaves Road, Whitmire, reported on Apr. 5 that their home was broken into and burglarized that morning. The report states there was damage to the back door estimated at $4,000, and missing items — including a double duck mount beaver pelt, a camouflage desk lamp, two cast iron pots, a whiskey jug, two tobacco cans and $10 in change — were valued at $2,300.

— A resident of Drugstore Street, Buffalo, reported on Apr. 1, that he believed some children threw rocks at his residence and broke one of his windows. The complainant valued the window at $100.

— An employee of Lil Cricket, located at 2009 Main Street, Buffalo, reported on Apr. 1 that a counterfeit $20 bill was passed at the store during the previous third shift.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Ronald Eugene Palmer, 43, of 101 Washington Street, Union, was charged with simple assault around 10:39 p.m. Apr. 7. According to the incident report, Palmer spit in a woman’s face during a verbal altercation.

— Sierra Danielle Rutledge, 29, of 114 Gold Road, Union, was charged with shoplifting around 12:55 a.m. Apr. 8. According to the incident report, Rutledge took several items from Walmart, located at 513 North Duncan Bypass, Union, on March 21.

— Steven Lamont Smith, 34, of 683 Rice Ave. Ext., Union, was charged with possession of a weapon by a felon, unlawful carrying of a firearm, and three counts of pointing and presenting a firearm around 7:10 p.m. Apr. 5. According to arrest warrants, Smith presented a black handgun at three people while on the 100 block of West Henrietta Street, Union, on Apr. 5.

— Amber Nicole Johnson, 25, of 408 Norris Street, Jonesville, was charged with driving under suspension around 2 p.m. Apr. 7.

— Deangelo Devante Simmons, 19, of 1208 Linersville Road, Buffalo, was charged with assault and battery around 9:20 p.m. Apr. 5. According to the arrest warrant, Simmons struck a woman in the face while at an address on Lawson Ave., Union, on Apr. 5.

— Terence Jomon Salter Jr., 32, of 207 Gault Ave., Union, was charged with assault and battery around 10:57 a.m. Apr. 5. According to the arrest warrant, Salter struck a woman about the face while at an address on Foster Street, Union, on Apr. 2.

— Kristopher Tyree Thompson, 18, of 120 North Boyce Street, Union, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance around 9:36 p.m. Apr. 2. According to the arrest warrant, Thompson had an alprazolam pill on his person during a traffic stop at 439 North Duncan Bypass, Union.

— Marcus Deangelo Gossett, 35, of 118 Pinedale Ave., Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 5:30 a.m. Apr. 2.

— Nikki Simone Hames, 28, of 141 Oak Grove Road, Union, was charged with driving under suspension and giving a false report around 3:15 p.m. Apr. 1.

— Jessica Marlene Jeter, 30, of 204 Lipsey Street, Union, was charged with driving under suspension around 9:35 a.m. Apr. 3.

— Patricia Megan Cohen, 30, of 207 East Academy Street, Union, was charged with third-degree domestic violence around 4:05 p.m. Apr. 1. According to the incident report, Cohen slapped and hit her husband during an argument over her cell phone which occurred after she blocked him from getting out of the driveway with her vehicle.

— Clifford Eugene Hardy, 25, of 720 Lakeside Drive, Union, was charged with simple possession of marijuana around 7:35 p.m. Apr. 3.

— Ryan Sentell Hampton, 18, of 101 Goins Lane, Union, was charged with shoplifting around 1:25 p.m. Apr. 2. According to the incident report, Hampton took a pair of ear buds from Family Dollar, located at 400 East Main Street, Union.

— Deborah Jean Wright, 42, of 110 Sinclair Road, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing around 4:15 p.m. Apr. 2.

— Naquisha Shontell Smith, 34, of 160 Hilltop View, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 3:30 p.m. Apr. 3.

— Sashady LaSharekia Porter, 34, of 1111 Lakeside Drive, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 3:35 p.m. Apr. 3.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incidents:

— A resident of Eisontown Road, Jonesville, reported on Apr. 5 that two subjects approached him while at an address on Lawson Ave., Union, and took a gold necklace from around his neck. The complainant stated he then went to his car and got a .380 Taurus handgun which was not loaded, and the subjects beat him with their own handguns until he released his, and they then took his gun.

— A resident of Wesley Chapel Road, Union, reported on Apr. 6 that a handgun was stolen from the glove compartment of his vehicle while it was parked at his residence. The gun was described as an eight-round .45 caliber Taurus pistol with stainless steel finish, which was purchased new from Brushy Creek Armory in Lockhart for $600.

— Officers responded to the vandalism of two vehicles at 175 Industrial Park Road, Union, on Apr. 2. One vehicle had all four tires cut, sugar in the gas cap, and both passenger side windows broken, and scratches all over it. The other vehicle was also scratched all over. The case was turned over to investigations.

— A resident of East Henrietta Street, Union, reported on Apr. 3, that someone vandalized his vehicle by breaking the glass in his windshield.
