Crime Report


The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

— Robert William Hardy, 53, of 870 Dogwood Circle, Pacolet, was charged with attempted murder around 4:10 p.m. March 8. According to the incident report, Hardy assaulted a man by hitting him in the head with a hammer. The report also states Hardy pulled a handgun that was not loaded on the man, and the man was able to get the gun away from Hardy.

— Dierris Gerard Jeter, 24, of 203 Harris Street, Jonesville, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 8:10 a.m. March 10. According to the incident report, Harris grabbed a woman’s right arm and struck her in the mouth while at a residence on Knitting Mill Street, Jonesville.

— Donald Andrew Price II, 26, of 508 Eaves Road, Union, was charged with two counts of petit larceny around 3:52 a.m. March 10. According to the incident report, a resident of South Street, Buffalo, stated Price took a Remington model 1200 12-gauge shotgun from his residence, as well as several DVDs and a survival knife. The gun and knife were valued at a total of $900.

— LaQuandra Shanee Coleman, 21, of 402 Porter Street, Union, was charged with assault and battery 3rd around 2:18 a.m. March 9. According to the incident report, the victim claimed Coleman struck her in the forehead with a decorative glass candle, and the victim received medical treatment.

— Christopher Jarle Estes Jr., 19, of 200 Gambrel Street, Roebuck, was charged with petit larceny around 3:32 a.m. March 10. According to the incident report, Estes attempted to take a pair of earrings valued at $60 from Belk Distribution Center, located at 3805 Furman L. Fendley Hwy., Jonesville.

— Alyssia Brooke Sinclair, 25, of 116 Old Shetley Place, Union, was charged with breach of peace around 2:50 a.m. March 10.

— Steven Lamont Smith, 34, of 683 Rice Ave. Ext., Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 3:40 p.m. March 8.

— Justin Taiwan Stevens, 27, of 302 Spring Street, Union, was charged with possession of marijuana around 4:20 p.m. March 8.

— Harold Doug Humphries, 71, of 121 Webber Lake Road, Union, was charged with possession of marijuana around 11:30 a.m. March 4.

— Adam Wayne Fisher, 27, of 317 Linersville Road, Buffalo, was charged with petit larceny around 3:45 a.m. March 6. According to the incident report, Fisher took an LG smart phone from someone’s residence. The phone was valued at $150.

— Kathy Thompson Bishop, 57, of 709 Maple Street, Spartanburg, was charged with driving under the influence and open container around 5:10 p.m. March 4.

— Adam Wayne Fisher, 27, of 317 Linersville Road, Buffalo, was charged with disorderly conduct around 9:52 p.m. March 4. The incident report states Fisher yelled obscenities at someone while being arrested for another charge and continued to do so after being asked by the arresting officer to stop.

— Michael Anthony Wynn, 24, of 911 Beltline Road, Union, was charged with third-degree assault and battery around 2:15 p.m. March 6. According to the incident report, Wynn grabbed a woman by the arm and dragged her around her residence during an argument.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

— An employee of Dollar General, located at 102 Post Office Drive, Jonesville, reported the store received a counterfeit $20 bill, which was discovered while looking through the night bank deposits. The report states a bank confirmed the bill was counterfeit and was placed into evidence.

— A Buffalo resident stated a .380 Ruger handgun became missing from the middle console of her vehicle between 4 p.m. March 7 and 7:45 a.m. March 8 while her vehicle was parked on Chapman Road in Pacolet. The gun was valued at $400.

— Someone who was cleaning out a residence on Drugstore Street, Buffalo, reported that he left in the afternoon on March 6, and when he returned on March 7, he found that someone had thrown a block through the window of the residence. Damage was estimated at $300.

— A resident of Wild Life Drive, Union, reported on March 4 that his vehicle had been scratched from front to back down both sides, the hood and the trunk. The report states the victim valued the damage at around $5,000 because of the type and color of the paint.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Belinda Sue Davenport, 37, of 307 Wallace Street, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia around 7:30 p.m. March 10.

— Eugene Peake, 50, of 307 Wallace Street, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest around 7:30 p.m. March 10. According to the incident report, Peake attempted to run from officers after being placed under arrest for public intoxication.

— Dustin Tyler Medford, 24, of 155 Riley Road, Union, was charged with first-degree assault and battery around 2:15 p.m. March 9. According to the incident report, Medford confronted a man at the man’s place of employment, yelling and cursing at him, while wielding a crowbar. The report states Medford swung the crowbar, striking a work bench inside the shop of the man’s place of employment. The report also states Medford threatened the man’s life if he did not remove all of his belongings from his yard by the end of the day.

— Joshua Lewis Hughes, 29, of 720 Lakeside Drive, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 6:55 p.m.

— Jermaine Deonte Lindsay, 19, of 641 Joe Walker Road, Union, was charged with two counts of first-degree domestic violence around 10:50 a.m. March 6. According to arrest warrants, Lindsay pushed a woman and grabbed her by her throat while at an address on Lakeside Drive, Union, on March 5. Warrants also state Lindsay punched the woman in the back of her head on March 6.

— Shawn Lee Foster, 37, of 408 Green Street, Union, was charged with domestic violence around 4:30 p.m. March 4. According to the arrest warrant, Foster engaged in a physical altercation with a woman, striking her in the face, while in front of his residence.

— Jamie Tyrone Brannon, 38, of 114 Woodlawn Ave., Union, was charged with trespassing around 5:30 p.m. March 5. According to the incident report, Brannon was at Walmart, located at 513 North Duncan Bypass, Union, after already being placed on trespass notice from the store.

— Michael David Yarborough Jr., 26, of 30 Sims Street, Whitmire, was charged with reckless driving around 8:33 p.m. March 5.

— Jeremy Tywon Beaty, 28, of 222 Pinetree Lane, Union, was charged with driving under the influence around 6:31 a.m. March 6.

— Jessica Monique Rice, 27, of 303 North Boyce Street, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 7:05 p.m. March 5. According to the arrest warrant, Rice engaged in a physical altercation with a woman while at an address on 3rd Ave., Union.

— Daysha Mona Palmer, 24, of 114 Hancock Street, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 6:40 p.m. March 5. According to the arrest warrant, Palmer engaged in a physical altercation with a woman while at an address on 3rd Ave., Union.

— Reco Danelle Tucker, 28, of 125 Tucker Lane, Carlisle, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving under the influence, and open container around 6:34 a.m. March 5.

— Brendon Jamal Cromer, 19, of 121 Paula Circle, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 8:09 p.m. March 5. According to the arrest warrant, Cromer engaged in an argument with a man, becoming loud and boisterous, while in the parking lot of Walmart, located at 513 North Duncan Bypass, Union.

— Lance Barron Gann, 26, of 2624 Lockhart Hwy., Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 9:03 p.m. March 5. According to the arrest warrant, Gann engaged in an argument with a man, becoming loud and boisterous, while in the parking lot of Walmart, located at 513 North Duncan Bypass, Union.

— Oneita Rena Owens, 44, of 1705 Union Blvd., Union, was charged with drawing in affray around 1:40 p.m. March 6. According to the arrest warrant, Owens drew a knife on a juvenile during an argument at her residence.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incidents:

— A resident of Blassingame Street, Union, reported on March 9 that his vehicle was vandalized by someone taking a sharp object and scratching the vehicle while it was parked at his residence between midnight and 12:50 p.m. March 9.

— A resident of Rice Ave. Ext., Union, reported on March 9 that someone vandalized her vehicle by cutting her two back tires between 10:20 p.m. March 8 and 8 a.m. March 9.

— A resident of Park Drive, Union, reported on March 8 that someone broke into his residence by kicking in the back door. The complainant stated he was in the process of moving and that nothing was stolen. Damage was estimated at $300. The report was turned over to investigations.

— A resident of Goings Lane, Union, reported on March 4 that someone broke into her residence by breaking out a rear window to the residence between Feb. 29-March 4. The incident report states the responding officer noticed that someone had pushed over an entertainment-center-type piece of furniture and made entrance into the residence. The victim stated the only thing she noticed missing was a 32-inch flat screen TV.
