Crime Report


The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

— Kenneth Allen Puckett, 46, of 114 Westwood Lane, Pauline, was charged with domestic violence around 10:43 p.m. Jan. 12. The incident report stated officers will see the magistrate to obtain warrants for first-degree domestic violence, rape and kidnapping.

— Brandon Lee Williams, 24, of 108 Sugar Creek Road, Buffalo, was charged with breach of peace and possession of drug paraphernalia around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 11.

— Miriam Elise Holden, 24, of 267 Eaves Road, Whitmire, was charged with possession of methamphetamine around noon Jan. 11.

— Joey Lee Rice, 45, of 146 Peacewood Drive, Union, was charged with attempted murder, two counts of pointing and presenting a firearm and possession of a weapon during a violent crime around 9:30 a.m. Jan. 8.

— Patrick Michael Donnelly, 35, of 183 Justice Road, Buffalo, was charged with domestic violence around 6:10 p.m. Jan. 10.

— Rick Anderson Bell, 52, of 139 Whitlock Lake Road, Jonesville, was charged with driving under the influence around 1:07 a.m. Jan. 10.

— King Solomon David Prince Gilkey, 28, of 108 Hancock Street, Union, was charged with possession of cocaine around 9:45 p.m. Jan. 9.

— Donovan Lee Robinson, 28, of 346 Pineneedle Road, Union, was charged with driving under the influence around 10:09 p.m. Jan. 9.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

— A resident of South 2nd Street, Lockhart, reported on Jan. 13 that she began being harassed on Jan. 5, receiving telephone calls and text messages from a number she did not know. She stated she asked the person to stop doing so, and they refused. She also stated the subject had threatened her.

— A resident of Cudd Lane, Union, reported on Jan. 4 that someone had stolen her mother’s ashes, and she stated the ashes were last seen in her closet the previous week.

— Officers responded to an address on Whitmire Hwy., Union on Jan. 11 where a complainant stated a hydraulic pole saw was taken from the top of a truck parked at the address between Jan. 8-11. The saw was valued at around $1,500.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Chad Everett Fincher, 41, of 318 South Mountain Street, Union, was charged with third-degree domestic violence around 8:55 a.m. Jan. 13. According to the arrest warrant, Fincher mad a threat to kill a woman, causing her to fear for her safety.

— Brent Tyson Austin, 35, of 231 Hancock Street, Union, was charged with malicious damage to property and trespassing on Jan. 13. According to the arrest warrant, Austin kicked and broke the glass out of a front door at an address on Hicks Street, Union.

— Rashard Travion Tolliver, 24, of 215 Brookwood Terrace, Spartanburg, was charged with shoplifting around 11:16 p.m. Jan. 13. According to the arrest warrant, Tolliver assisted a woman in shoplifting computers by selecting them from the shelves at Wal-mart and loading them onto a shopping cart for the woman to push out of the store.

— Mary Elizabeth Foster, 52, of 717 West Main Street, Union, was charged with unlawful conduct toward a child around 1 p.m. Jan. 13. According to the arrest warrant, Foster and her husband caused bodily harm to an 8-year-old by striking him with a broom, an extension cord and an open hand, causing bruises to the face and back area, between Dec. 5-9.

— Roland Lindsay, 58, of 717 West Main Street, Union, was charged with unlawful conduct toward a child around 7:30 p.m. Jan. 13. According to the arrest warrant, Lindsay and his wife caused bodily harm to an 8-year-old by striking him with a broom, an extension cord and an open hand, causing bruises to the face and back area, between Dec. 5-9.

— Melissa Paige Murrell, 32, of 714 North Pinckney Street, Union, was charged with breach of trust around 1:15 p.m. Jan. 13. According to the arrest warrant, Murrell took a total of $510 from a register at Walmart, located at 513 North Duncan Bypass, Union, while working at the register.

— Andrey Darnell Hall Jr., 23, of 1205 Arthur Blvd., Union, was charged with trespassing and arrested on a bench warrant around 12:45 p.m. Jan. 11.

— Christina Michaela Watts, 20, of 302 South 7th Street, Lockhart, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia around 9:57 p.m. Jan. 10.

— Louise Nicole Crocker, 24, of 101 Pine Street, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 10:55 p.m. Jan. 9.

— Marcus LaShawn Gist, 34, of 301 Foster Street, Union, was charged with trespassing, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana around 3:20 p.m. Jan. 8.

— Autumn Alia Wicks, 18, of 302 Green Street, Union, was charged with shoplifting around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 10. According to the arrest warrant, Wicks worked in consort with a cashier at Fresh Air Galaxy, located at 907 East Main Street, Union, to knowingly take items from the store that had not been paid for.

— Jeremy Wade Sinclair, 21, of 302 Green Street, Union, was charged with shoplifting around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 10. According to the arrest warrant, Sinclair worked in consort with a cashier at Fresh Air Galaxy, located at 907 East Main Street, Union, to knowingly take items from the store that had not been paid for.

— Anna Victoria Reynolds, 17, of 300 B Springdale Drive, Union, was charged with breach of trust, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple possession of marijuana around 1:45 p.m. Jan. 9.

— Patrick Michael Donnelly, 35, of 183 Justice Road, Buffalo, was charged with disorderly conduct around 7:40 p.m. Jan. 9. According to the incident report, Donnelly became loud and boisterous, using profane language, while at Rent-A-Center, located at 410 North Duncan Bypass in Union.

— Jamie Tyrone Brannon, 38, of 114 Woodlawn Ave., Union, was charged with trespassing around 8:45 a.m. Jan. 9. According to the arrest warrant, Brannon was at Wal-Mart in Union after already being placed on trespass notice from the store.

— Matthew Cole Grady, 23, of 3915 Cross Keys Hwy., Union, was charged with shoplifting around 8:35 a.m. Jan. 9. According to the arrest warrant, Grady took items from Walmart, located at 513 North Duncan Bypass, Union.
