Taylor also briefed council on a number of issues related to his office including a recent drug round-up that resulted in 23 arrests.

In addition, Taylor said his office is working on improvements to the Union County Jail including repairing its exhaust system and taking bids on the heat exchange unit.

Taylor also told council that the agreement between the county and the City of Union and Town of Jonesville to house prisoners arrested by the law enforcement agencies of those municipalities needs to be updated.
