NEWBERRY — Newberry College welcomed new students and their families, including Union student John Cheek to Wolf Pack Welcome 2016. This day-long program provides incoming freshmen and transfer students with the opportunity to connect with faculty in their intended major, explore the campus and familiarize themselves with the array of academic and campus life programs available at the college.
“Wolf Pack Welcome is an important next step in helping students get their first semester as Newberry students off to a successful beginning this fall,” said Dean of Students Sandra Rouse. “We are delighted to welcome our newest members to the Wolf Pack.” Cheek will start classes at Newberry College on Aug. 23.
Newberry College is a private, residential, co-educational college with a diverse student population. Founded in 1856 by the Lutheran Church, the College is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and the National Association of Schools of Music.
