Yard Sale Fundraiser

Augsburg Lutheran Church is holding a yard sale fundraiser today from 7 a.m.-noon. The church will provide big, brown bags that you can fill with items from the yard sale for $10. The funds raised will be used for a Veterans Day Breakfast for local veterans; a Christmas dinner for local guardian ad litems; Christmas gifts for children through the Secret Santa program; Thanksgiving food baskets for the needy; gifts for residents of Ellen Sagar Nursing Center; and to support Meals on Wheels.

Annual Revival

St. Luke AME Church, Carlisle, will hold its Annual Church Revival this Sunday at 4 p.m.

The Rev. John Wilkns, Pastor of Mountain View Baptist Church, Campobello, will be the guest speaker.

Youth Fundraisers

McBeth Baptist Church will hold a Youth Fundraiser at La Fogata Mexican Restaurant on July 27 from 5-10 p.m. and at El Poblano Mexican Restaurant on Aug. 3 from 5-10 p.m. Donations are greatly appreciated. The fundraisers are for youth to purchase school supplies. Ten percent of the food sale will go to the church’s Youth Ministry.

Sunday, July 17-Wednesday, July 20

1 p.m. and 7 p.m.: Pastor Michael A. Glenn and the Friendship Baptist Church, 250 Morning Drive, Spartanburg, will hold revival services. The guest preacher for the 1 p.m. Sunday service will be Reverend Gerry Spells of Lewis Chapel Pastor of Lewis Chapel Baptist Church in Glendale. The guest preacher for the July 18-20 services which will be held nightly at 7 p.m. will be Reverend Telley Lynnette Gadson, Pastor, Saint Mark United Methodist Church, Taylors.

Summer Snow Open Again

First United Pentecostal Church’s Summer Snow is open once again. It will be open from noon-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday serving up shaved ice sno cones through August. The church is located at 313 Old Buffalo Road.

Summer Snow is a fundraiser for the church with the funds raised used for the church youth, “Sheaves for Christ,” and “Christmas for Christ,” and foreign missions.

Church times at First United Pentecostal Church are Sunday School at noon and Evangelistic Services at 2 p.m. Sunday and Bible Study at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

3 p.m.: The All Male Chorus of Wyatt’s Chapel Baptist Church of Buffalo will celebrate their 43rd Anniversary. Rev. Elijah Ray, Pastor.

Sunday, July 17-Wednesday, July 20

2 p.m. & 7 p.m.: The McBeth Baptist Church Family cordially invite you to our Annual Revival Services.

Our revival will open on Sunday, July 17, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Cliff H. Dye, Purity Baptist Church of Blair, SC.

Our guest preacher for the week will be Pastor Dr. Jefferson N. McDowell, former Pastor of Wyatt’s Chapel Baptist) and presently Pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Laurens, SC.

Saturday, July 23

10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Bethany AME Church in Kelton holds a Community Health Fair. Do something for yourself, look good, feel good, and be well. Pastor Ronald McFadden and Heatlh Ministry Coordinator Rena Goode.

Sunday, July 24

2 p.m.: The Red Hill Baptist Church will have its annual Revival.. This year’s revival will be a ONE DAY Revival. The speaker for the Sunday evening service will be the Rev George Shell, pastor of the St Luke Baptist Church, Buffalo, SC.

Pastor Geoffrey Stephens and the church family welcome each and everyone to come out and share in this service.

Sunday, July 24-Wednesday, July 27

2 p.m.: New Emanuel Chapel Baptist Church will Homecoming & Revival Services. The first service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday and the services for the remainder of the week will be nightly at 6:45 p.m.
