MES students win poster contest


Theme of posters is ‘We all love trees!’

MONARCH — Artistic ability and a love of trees helped three students at Monarch Elementary School win a poster contest.

Cameron Kendrick, Jacob Kingsmore, and Mia Sherbert were three of the top winners of the Soil and Water Conservation poster contest. The theme of the posters was “We all love trees!” Cameron was First Place Winner, Jacob Second Place Winner, and Mia Third Place Winner. The students were in Mrs. Carolyn Brown’s third grade class at MES.

Mrs. Tami Garrett’s class won for submitting the most posters.
