UNION — There’s been a lot to celebrate recently at Foster Park Elementary School.

Like all schools, the emphasis at FPES is on academics and whenever students do well academically, the school celebrates their achievements.

Each year, the school celebrates student achievement on state tests. The students who score well on the tests are honored with a special program.

The latest of these celebrations was held earlier this month and those students who scored well on the tests were recognized.

Leading the event was FPES student government officers Cortney Hicks, Ty’Keyvius Beaty, Makayla Addis, and Jamison Alexander.
