Lady Tigers beat Dorman 13-1


Take on Broome tonight, Landrum Thursday

UNION — The Sims Middle School Lady Tigers softball team picked up a big win over Dorman on Friday.

Sims defeated Dorman in a final score of 13-1. Sims pitcher Addy Ferrell delivered 16 strikeouts, and at the plate, KK Robinson was two for three; Ashanti Young went four for five; Kate Burgess went three for three; Kionna McBeth went one for four; and Carmen Glenn went two for four.

The Lady Tigers will go on the road tonight (Wednesday) to take on Broome at 5 p.m. They will face Landrum on the road at 5 p.m. Thursday. The team’s next home game will be against Dorman at 5 p.m. Monday, March 21, at Timken Sports Complex in Union.
