UNION — “Fifty Years and Going Strong” was the theme of the Miss USC Union Pageant on March 5, 2016 where nine contestants competed for the crown.
The nine contestants began the evening with their opening number and introduced themselves. The pageant included talent, casual wear with an onstage question, and evening gown competition. Each young lady selected her own wardrobe and talent performance. Also in attendance were many past Miss USC Union Queens!
USCU staff member Bill Moore and Miss USC Union 2012 Kaitlyn Wade co-hosted the pageant. The judges for the evening were Dr. Susan Elkins — Chancellor of USC’s Palmetto College, Jonathan Trivette — LED Miss Spartanburg Pageant, and Michelle Holcomb — Miss Spartanburg Pageant Board Member. The pageant included a vocal performance by 2015 Miss USC Union, Alana Wright.
