UNION — Some students at Foster Park Elementary School were treated to a special party by the school in honor of their meeting their latest goals for the Accelerated Reader Program.

The students were treated to a pizza party and a special presentation lead by John Greene from the Spartanburg Science Center.

During his presentation, Greene allowed students to get up close to, touch, and even hold some of the animals he brought with him to the event include turtles and snakes.

It was a good time for the students who got to not only celebrate their success, but also learn some things in the process.
