UNION — On March 5, 2016 the University of South Carolina Union will host the Miss USC Union Pageant in the auditorium. The pageant is a community service project and also provides scholarships for the queen, as well as first and second runners-up. Proceeds from this pageant will benefit the local Alzheimer’s Association. The USC Union University 101 classes have raised more than $13,000 towards finding a cure for Alzheimer’s since 2011.
This year’s theme, “Fifty Years and Going Strong” will blend in with USC Union’s 50th Anniversary. The pageant will showcase young women throughout the evening in casual wear, on-stage questions, talent and evening gown competition.
Admission to the pageant is by ticket only. The tickets are $5 each and can be purchased prior to the pageant from the contestants, the USC Union Financial Aid Office or at USC Union Laurens location. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
