UNION — The City of Union Planning Department issued a total of $644 worth of permits for projects with a total value of $85,736 in November.

Building Permits

The department issued the following building permits:

• Three commercial repair permits for a total of $200 on projects with a combined value of $38,370.

• One demolition permit for $50 on a project valued at $1,000.

• Eight residential repair permits for a total of $235 for projects with a combined value of $39,516.

Electrical Permits

The department issued the following electrical permit:

• Four commercial repair permits for a total of $60 on projects with a combined value of $400.

• Two residential repair permits for a total of $54 on projects with a combined value of $2,450.

Plumbing Permits

The department issued the following plumbing permits:

• Three residential repair permits for a total of $45 on projects with a combined value of $4,000.

Other

The department also conducted a plan review while Brian Blackwell with RCI conducted nine electrical inspections, three building inspections, and four plumbing inspections and also met with contractors and homeowners, and conducted plan reviews.

The report also states that in November there was new commercial construction with the continuing construction of the new dialysis clinic.

The report also stated that the following news businesses opened in November at the following locations:

• A&R Auto Service, 155 Connector Road

• Fresh Seafood on Main, 200 S. Gadberry St.
