Crime Report


The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

— Colton Blake Zeland, 27, of 104 Poinsette Street, Union, was charged with reckless driving and first-degree harassment around 2:15 a.m. Dec. 20.

— Francine Lalise Rice, 43, of 135 William B Free Road, Union, was charged with breach of peace around 8 p.m. Dec. 18.

— Christen Lynn Prince, 28, of 104 Baber Street, Union, was charged with breach of peace around 8:15 p.m. Dec. 18.

— Ava Gail Hendrix, 41, of 1208 Linersville Road, Buffalo, was charged with breach of peace around 11:20 p.m. Dec. 18.

— Charles Michael Solesbee, 40, of 1418 Peach Orchard Road, Union, was charged with third-degree domestic violence around 2:52 a.m. Dec. 17. According to the incident report, the victim stated Solesbee burst through a door, hit her in the face and choked her.

— Chelsea Dawn Carroll, 22, of 1437 Peach Orchard Road, Union, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia around 6:30 p.m. Dec. 17.

— Leslie Diane Wilson, 28, of 303 South 3rd Street, Lockhart, was charged with driving without a license and possession of a Schedule IV narcotic around 1:45 p.m. Dec. 16.

— Arthur William Watts, 45, of 150 Church Street, was charged with alteration of a license, driving under suspension and habitual traffic offender around 1:50 p.m. Dec. 16.

— Justin Alejandro Martin, 26, of 2643 Greenbrier Mossydale Road, Winnsboro, was charged with driving under suspension, habitual traffic offender and open container around 4:20 p.m. Dec. 16.

— Brittany Paige Williams, 23, of 162 Octavia Drive, Spartanburg, was charged with driving under suspension and gambling around 5:15 p.m. Dec. 16.

— Tyler Scott Henderson, 19, of 302 Canal Road, Lockhart, was charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia around 11:39 p.m. Dec. 16.

— Bradley Neil Jennings, 30, of 110 North 4th Street, Lockhart was charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia around 11:54 p.m. Dec. 16.

— Leslie Diane Wilson, 28, of 303 South 3rd Street, Lockhart, was charged with driving without a license and possession of a Schedule IV narcotic around 1:45 p.m. Dec. 16.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

— A resident of Lindsay Drive in Jonesville reported on Dec. 18 that someone broke into his vehicle by damaging the trunk and lock and damaged the top of another vehicle. Tools and other items are missing from the car. Damage to both vehicles is estimated at a total $2,500. Stolen items — including a battery charger, hedge trimmer, socket sets, ratchets, a circular saw, two riding lawnmower blades, and an electric sander — are valued at a total of $1,088.

— The owner of a residence on Lockhart Hwy., Union, reported on Dec. 18 that she returned to a property she owned after almost six months, and she found that the back door was open and all of the glass in the door was broken out. The report states other damage included a door knob knocked off, and missing items such as a cast iron claw foot bathtub, a cast iron sink, one toilet, fixtures and piping from the kitchen sink, and one metal gas heater.

— A Jonesville resident reported on Dec. 18 that someone scratched her van on the right side with a sharp object while parked at an address on Drugstore Street in Buffalo. Damage is estimated at $500.

— The owner of a property on Fairview Church Circle, Union, reported that his property had been entered and an old TV and chair were dumped there. Also, the report states missing items included a fiberglass ladder valued at $300 and a heat pump valued at $1,200.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrest:

— Marcus LaShawn Gist, 34, of 301 Foster Street, Union, was charged with assault and battery and trespassing around 6:30 p.m. Dec. 21. According to the arrest warrant, Gist grabbed a woman, dragged her through a residence and squeezed her face on Dec. 18.
