UNION COUNTY — The first “Letters to Santa” have been sent in to The Union Daily Times. Have you sent yours in yet?
As we do every year, The Union Daily Times is publishing our special “Letters to Santa” section to give Santa, one of our most faithful subscribers, the opportunity to read the Christmas wish lists of the children of Union County.
Letters to Santa is open to children ages birth to 5th grade. Preschool and elementary school classes are encouraged to submit their students’ letters to Santa. All letters must be typed and submitted via email to email@example.com by Dec. 18.
That’s just what the children in a class at one local school did earlier this month. They wrote their letters to Santa and turned them in to their teacher who in turn sent them in to The Union Daily Times in an email.
Those Letters to Santa are ready to go in The Union Daily Times, but what about your letters? How soon will you have them written, typed up, turned in and emailed in for publication?
Go ahead and get them done as soon as possible and get them in as soon as possible so they can go in the paper on Dec. 21, the day we will start running the Letters to Santa. Plans are to have all the Letters to Santa published by Dec. 22 to give Santa plenty of time to read them and pass on those Christmas wishes to the elves who are hard at work making toys and other presents that he’ll be delivering on Christmas Eve.
