Union Civitan Club holds fundraiser


Event included sale of chicken stew, shirts

Courtesy photo The Union Civitan Club uses funds it raises through events such as the Third Annual Illuminate the Lake 5K held Nov. 14 at Foster Park to support good causes. Among the causes it has supported is Ainsley's Angels which the club donated funds to for the purchase of the wheelchairs these individuals are using.


UNION — The Third Annual Illuminate the Lake 5K was held at Foster Park on November 14, 2015 by the Union Civitan Club. A special thanks to Mr. Tommy Sinclair for cooking the chicken stew, Mrs. Stephanie Kitchens for organizing the 5K, and all the volunteers and participants that helped make this a successful event.
