Celebrate a year and a life of blessings each birthday

Church Calendar

Charles Warner | The Union Daily Times Every birthday we celebrate is really the celebration of another year of blessings that we've enjoyed courtesy of God who blessed us with life enabling us to have birthdays. So each birthday, in the middle of opening presents, eating birthday cake and having fun, take time to stop and reflect on all that God has blessed you with since the beginning of your life. When you do that, you will realize that the blessings God has given you are the greatest gifts of all and count and celebrate your blessings each and every day of the life you've been blessed with.

This is McBeth Baptist Church’s second Hanging of the Greens, which is a service for the first Sunday in Advent. It is based on the English tradition of decorating the home with wreaths, garlands, a Christmas tree and evergreens for Advent and Christmas. In a church setting, it readies the sanctuary (and church members) for the season. It prepares us for the advent, the coming of the Christ Child. Please come expecting to receive a blessing for the Lord and experience the true meaning of Christmas.
