UNION COUNTY — Union County Stingers and Flag Football champions were crowned last week after playoffs culminated with “Superbowl” contests.

In the Stingers-Majors division, the New Horizon Realty Jets defeated the Frank Hart Allstate Steelers in a final score of 34-13. The Jets’ B.J. Jeter was awarded Most Valuable Player of the League.

The Jets roster included TJ Betenbaugh, Evan Threadgill, Nathan Smith, Tayshaun Thompson, Desmond Herbert, Ty’Keyvius Beaty, Alijahua Rice, Nathan Cudd, Garrison Smith, Gerald Gilliam, Zaedan Hill, Tristan Maness, Javion Brannon, Ben Black, TJ Garner, Greg Garner, Jacob Gregory, Bett Owens, Cale Crawford, Andrew Cooper, Ja’Coreyun Broudus, Cameron Farr, and Kelvin Hall.

In the Stingers-Minors division, the Wade’s Employment Saints defeated the United Wood Raiders in a final score of 13-0. The Most Valuable Player of the League was awarded to Dez Herbert of the Saints.

The Saints roster included BJ Jeter, DJ Gregory, LJ Bates, Tanner Hardin, Cade Coker, Elijah Byrd, Cameron West, Cayden Kingsmore, Christian Hughey, Rylan Lancaster, Evan Millwood, Corey Millwood, Carter Hackler, My’son Brant, Michael Revis, Demarion Woodson, Jaylan Davis, Mason Small, Blyth Long, Keylan Jeter, Dennis Ray, and Josh Brannon.

In the Flag division, the Austin Rehab Eagles defeated the One Main Financial Seahawks 7-6. The Seahawks’ Parker Cromer was awarded Most Valuable Player of the League.
