Tuesday, Oct. 27

• The Union County Senior Citizens meets at Mon Aetna Church Social Hall with a covered dish meal at 6 p.m. Catherine Varner and Harold Senn will provide the entertainment. Payment will be due for the New Year’s trip to Myrtle Beach.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

• The Union County Disabilities and Special Needs Board of Directors will have their monthly meeting at 12 p.m. The meeting will be held at 226 S. Gadberry Street. Lunch will be provided.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

• The Union County Beekeepers Association meets 6 p.m. in the Clemson Extension Meeting Room at the fairgrounds. Light refreshments are served at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m. We will be discussing getting hives ready for winter and planning for next year. Everyone interested in bees is encouraged to attend.

Saturday, Nov. 7

• The 6th annual Carolina Christmas Shop will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Union County Fairgrounds. Vendor spots are still available. For more information, call (803) 924-3413 or email CarolinaChristmasShop@gmail.com.

• The Union County Alzheimer’s Support Group will host the first countywide Alzheimer’s Awareness Walk, which will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Grace United Methodist Church parking lot. The walk will begin at the church and coninue to the Union County Courthouse and back to Grace UMC.

• The Union County Beekeepers Association will meet on Tuesday, November 3rd at 6:00 in the Clemson Extension Meeting Room at the fairgrounds.
