JONESVILLE — The Jonesville Wildcats middle school football team was defeated by EP Todd on Wednesday with a final score of 31-6.

EP Todd dominated Jonesville throughout the first half, not allowing Jonesville to score. At the half, EP Todd was up 22-0.

Coach Jay Voiselle said his offense was able to run but stalled in the red zone, and his defense was no match for the EP Todd offense.

“We didn’t play well tonight and that’s on me,” Voiselle said. “We did have a few 7th graders that grew up tonight, so that’s encouraging.”

A run by Jonesville tailback Harold Farr III in the second half put Jonesville’s only points on the board.

Voiselle said QB Hagan Blackwell ran the ball hard, and Farr ran the ball well at tailback.

“We’ll keep teaching the fundamentals and do our best to prepare them for the final game,” he said.

Jonesville has a bye week next week, and they will have one final game which is yet to be announced.
